Change teeth

Changing teeth consists of three stages:

Children start changing teeth when they are around 6 years old for a period of 2 years. Afterwards, a rest phase will follow between the age of 8 and 10. Usually no changes occur then. The second phase will start from 10 to 12 years old.

Lastly, the wisdom teeth will break through. Some people however, do not get wisdom teeth.

When new molars come through, the gums often swell. This can be painful, but normal. You don’t have to worry.
